The Roller has two parts to it, the base that mounts onto the cross arm and the roller the fits into the base. The base that mounts onto the cross arm and the roller that fits into the base. The base allows the roller be mounted as either a straight or angle roller. If roller is only required for hanging purpose then the mounting bracket is not required.
