The Polywater® PowerPatch® Transformer Leak Repair System is a leak repair system that quickly plugs and seals active leaks in minutes. The system consists of a fast-cure putty that stops oil seepage and a 2-part paste overcoat that forms a permanent seal that is impervious to water, oil and weather. The kit contains all materials needed to fix a leak while in the field and is convenient and cost-effective, as it is faster than welding. The new multi-use cartridge is also suitable for substation applications and in-field repairs. It can be used on PILC cables, transformers, oil-filled equipment, potheads, lead-sheathed cables and SF6 gas pipe type cables.
